The Wool Pavilion

As the name implies, visiting the wool pavilion allows patrons to view champion fleeces and watch experts from the spinners and weavers guild spinning fleeces into wool.

There are also demonstrations of shearing, using both electrical shears and the old hand shears of yesteryear.

The Jack Smith Working Models are now a permanent feature in the wool pavilion. The models were originally part of the Copping Museum, but when it was sold, a group of local businessmen purchased some of the models to preserve them for future generations, and donated them to the Show Society for safe keeping.
