Information to keep in mind for our 2027 show as follows:

We encourage stall holders selling food and drink, artisan wares and businesses with a strong rural focus to apply today!

Applications will likely close January 1 with successful applicants receiving confirmation in early February.

Stall holders must be able to accommodate cash sales.

You will find forms for temporary food vendors below along with the Terms and Conditions for groundspace hire from our 2026 show for your information.

There will be no vehicles permitted next to stalls except where it is needed for accessibility for disabled parking/access.

  • 2. What are you applying for?

    We have four options available; registered food business (businesses selling food and/or drink that are registered with a local council), temporary food business (businesses selling food only for the show and will need a temporary registration with the Sorell Council) general trade (business selling goods) or display only (you cannot sell anything from a display only site)
  • Please enter above your business registration number and name of issuing council.
  • Max. file size: 64 MB.
  • TEMPORARY FOOD VENDOR: Successful applicants must apply to the Sorell Council using ‘Registration of a Temporary Food Business” form. This must be supplied to the Show prior to show day.
  • GENERAL TRADE SITE: Preference is given to handmade, Tasmanian, high quality and non-commercial products
  • DISPLAY ONLY SITE: For those not selling any products or services
  • Max. file size: 64 MB.
    NOTE: this photo must CLEARLY show whether your stall is a van, trailer, marquee or other type of structure.

  • What is the size of your structure including drawbar. Please measure from tow bar to tailgate.

    NOTE: if you are NOT using a marquee or gazebo you may skip to section 4.
  • TEMPORARY STRUCTURES: All temporary structures must provide details for assessment by the Building Surveyor
  • Please note: Due to the possibility of strong wind all temporary structures need to be certified with a wind rating of over 80km/hr and be securely weighted with approved marquee weights
  • 4. Safety

  • 5. Site Requirements

    All applicants must answer the following questions.
  • Choose the site size to suit your requirements. Remember to allow for the length of trailer tow hitches and/or marquee guide ropes and social distancing when choosing site size
  • Do you require power?
  • You must advise us now as to your power requirements, they cannot be changed on the day.
  • Whilst we aim to provide our stall holders with a reliable wifi network, we are unable to guarantee this for the 2025 show.
  • 5. Other Information

    All applicants must answer the following questions.
  • Max. file size: 64 MB.
    Please include Certificates of Currency for Insurance Policies. If your insurance is set to expire before show day, please provide details regardless. Insurance polices MUST be updated and forwarded to the ground space team prior to show day.
  • Reminder: Each site to clearly display Certificate of Insurance, Business Registration certificate, and a No Smoking sign.
  • Reminder: No dogs/pets except assistance dogs are allowed on site.
  • Reminder: In accordance with legislation introduced to Tasmania in 2013, sites are not permitted to provide non-biodegradable light weight plastic shopping bags.
    Please note that due to an unreliable wifi network due to overloading on show day, we kindly ask all our stall holders to accomodate cash sales on the day.
  • Each site must ensure that all staff and volunteers have tickets. Tickets are $10 per person. Please select how many tickets you will need.
  • Payment is not be required with your application. An invoice will be sent to you if successful.
