Heaviest Pumpkin and Giant Vegetables

Rules and Regulations

  • All entries must be grown by the exhibitor in Tasmania.
  • Exhibits must be at the showground by 9.00am on Show day.
  • Weighing will commence at 1.00 pm on show day.

Delivery of Exhibits

  • Exhibits to be delivered to the showground on Friday between 9.00am and 6.00pm or Saturday morning between 7.00am and 9.00am.
  • All exhibitors must purchase a ticket for entry to the Show grounds from our website www.breamcreekshow.com.au
  • If vehicle access to the showground is required for delivery of exhibits on Show day you must email [email protected] to make arrangements to allow entry through Gate 2.
  • Vehicles must then be parked in the Exhibitors carpark and cannot leave that carpark until after 4pm on showday.

Collection of exhibits and prizes:

  • Exhibits can be collected after 4 pm.
  • Prizes, certificates and prize money can be collected from the Show Office after the event.
  • The committee cannot accept any responsibility for exhibits or prize money not collected by 5.00 pm on show day.

Heaviest Pumpkin (D W Kingston Memorial Challenge)

Categories

  • Senior competition – (entrants 16 years and over)
  • Junior competition – (entrants under 16 years)
  • Best Overall Entry by a Novice – (entrant must be new to the event, or have participated no more than 1 time previously)

Prizes

  • Senior prize money: 1st: $500.00; 2nd: $200.00; 3rd: $100.00
  • Junior prize voucher to the value: 1st: $100.00; 2nd: $50.00; 3rd: $25.00
